Rebuilding a life
Everyone has a past, but how real is that past, experienced or felt how it was. Deceive ourselves and remember only the interpretation of experiences filtered through a sentimental memory. The experiences are erased from the mind, memories are transformed, mixed with dreams, desires and confused with imagination. Can not mind building experience by analogies, on the basis of other similar experiences, extrapolating landscapes, characters and actions, and rebuild new memories?
Can we say that memories are less valid than a dream nurtured for years? That dream can take the place of memories and experiences to fill a life (fantasies in which it is believed and accepted as real.) Who knew that our past is false? Do the "versions" of those we meet? They can only remember fragments of our former life: those that make you laugh or feel sorry for, and often those in which they are the main characters, because in the end, are his memories, the experiences of them.
We could then fill our lives with dreams just like we can fill it with memories. And though our present is empty, we could retreat into the past. But what is the past? There are memories stored in the form of images, that would be false (dream) if it was not because there are places, not exactly the same, new constructions, extensions, people do not know. Who has not returned to the birthplace and is surprised to see the places where a child would no longer exist, and even those who are no longer met and if we find are so different from those we leave. What we have then? Remember them? The memories that we made ourselves, our version of the past.
And I wonder: Can there be someone who evoke their fantasies as realities and build your past based on their dreams? ...
